Join us on April 28, 2021 from 10 am to 12 pm for a presentation by Daniel Trolaro, Assistant Executive Director of The Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey, who will discuss how COVID-19 has impacted gambling, signs and symptoms to watch for, ways to increase protective factors and reduce risk factors, as well as preventative strategies to equip you with the knowledge and tools to prevent and also to assist those who are struggling with addiction. During our table talk discussion, share your thoughts and concerns with like-minded faith-based and community partners and leave with actionable items to implement in your organization.

If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Delgado at [email protected].

MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP
FOR SENIOR CITIZENS

The focus of this workshop will be to elaborate on the importance of Mental Health and how our senior citizens can stay positive/optimistic during the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic. Senior citizens have been affected by the pandemic in a variety of ways. Most notably, the pandemic has targeted their physical health directly but also their mental health. Isolation/quarantining has disturbed in-person socialization, with our loved ones, friends, etc. This virtual program will allow for seniors to better understand the importance of positivity and awareness. As well as get creative when it comes to finding ways to utilize their critical thinking skills and physical activity.

English Session: April 28th, 2021 at 12pm
