We invite you out to have a meal that will help out the ADAPT team in our efforts to provide a empowering Teen Summit for teens throughout Essex County. Please consider going to eat or ordering CarSide to Go Service at Applebee’s in Union, NJ this Thursday, October 9, 2014 and present the attached flyer to your server. Applebee’s will donate 10% of your bill to ADAPT for our Teen Summit.
Local Events/Programs:
Please join United Way of Essex and West Hudson at Blueprint for Success: Planning for College, Work, and Beyond. The target audience is high school students and parents. The North Jersey Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, United Way of Essex and West Hudson, and Rutgers University have partnered together to develop a one day conference to raise awareness and spark dialogue about key issues in the greater Essex County area, including:
- High school dropout prevention
- College admissions process and enrollment
- Post-secondary education career and training opportunities
You are invited to a free COMMUNITY CITIZENSHIP DAY EVENT to help you complete your citizenship application.
Where: PRAB at St. Ladislaus Early Childhood Center, 197 Somerset Street, New Brunswick , NJ 08901
When: Saturday October 18, 2014
Time: 12:00-3:00pm
Experienced lawyers and immigration professionals will help you complete your application. This event is organized by United Way of Central Jersey in partnership with PRAB, American Immigration Lawyers Association and NALEO.
